Supporting Educators + Helping Students Be Their Best
Throughout its history, Allegacy has had a steadfast commitment to helping people be their best through education. Since 2008, when we opened the state’s first Student-Run Credit Union, Allegacy has been the leader in promoting financial wellbeing within our school communities. Today, we have nine SRCU locations throughout Forsyth County where student volunteers gain practical work experience running the credit union at their schools each week. In the realm of higher education, we partner with local universities to offer financial education to help young adults build a solid financial foundation beyond graduation. During the pandemic, we were able to uphold our commitment to our partner schools and engage the students and staff virtually to keep financial education top of mind.
