The name “Allegacy Financial” better reflects the full way we show up for you today — as a comprehensive banking and financial partner, offering personal, small business, commercial, and wealth management services. It’s a name that honors where we’ve been, while continuing the same trusted relationships you’ve always known.

You’ll start to notice a refreshed look and feel across Allegacy — including our name, logo, and overall brand experience. We’ve also introduced an updated website at allegacy.org to make it easier to find what you need to move forward with confidence. While some things may look new, what matters most stays the same. The products, services, and support you rely on every day aren’t changing, just the way we show up alongside you. 

As we’ve grown, we wanted our symbol to better reflect what matters most — the relationships we build every day. The new symbol represents the bond we share with our members, team members, businesses, and communities across North Carolina. It’s a reflection of how we’re all connected, and how we continue to move forward together. 

Yes, we’re still a federally charted, member-owned credit union. That means your needs, not shareholders, continue to guide every decision we make. 

No, we have not merged with another financial institution. This is simply an evolution of our brand, not a change in ownership or structure. We remain the same member-owned credit union, rooted right here in North Carolina. 

There’s nothing you need to do right now. The only small step is to update your Allegacy mobile app when it’s convenient for you, so can continue to enjoy the best experience. Everything you rely on today — your login, accounts, and access — will continue to work just as it always has so you can move forward without interruption.
