Brian Vannoy is Chief Credit Risk Officer at Allegacy Federal Credit Union. Mr. Vannoy is responsible for the management, strategic planning, compliance, safety and soundness of the credit union’s $960 million dollar loan portfolio, which includes both retail, mortgage and commercial loans. He oversees business development, risk management, and operations for consumer lending, mortgage lending, and commercial lending, and is responsible for the payment systems and corporate real estate areas, business deposit services and business cash management services. Vannoy joined Allegacy in July, 2015, but will celebrate his 25th year in financial services during 2017.
He graduated Summa Cum Laude from Marietta College in Ohio with a Bachelor of Arts in economics and finance, where he was also a McDonough Scholar. He has completed graduate coursework in business and finance at West Virginia University and at the University of Pennsylvania through the Stonier Graduate School of Banking. He is a 2009 graduate of Leadership Winston-Salem and also earned the prestigious Credit Risk Certification (CRC). He currently serves on the Board of the Northwest North Carolina Chapter of the American Red Cross, the Board of the Downtown Winston-Salem Partnership, and represents Allegacy with The Economic Development Partnership of North Carolina.
