Komen Race for the Cure

For nearly 20 years, Allegacy has been committed to efforts to eradicate breast and ovarian cancers.

Proud to walk, run and fight.

For 20 years, Allegacy proudly co-sponsored the local Komen Race for the Cure, participating through corporate sponsorship and joining the race with our employees, friends and family members. Contributions totaled well over half a million dollars to local programs and national breast cancer research!

While Komen recently transitioned this area to its national mission and development programs and will no longer offer a local race option, Allegacy’s fight for women’s health continues.

Team Allegacy remains on a mission to battle cancer and provide benefits to breast and ovarian cancer survivors in new and exciting ways. As an organization that is 83% female we understand the importance of education and early detection and remain strong in our commitment to the wellbeing of our members and the community.

Be involved. Support the good.

How do we express our concern for the community? By rolling up our sleeves and getting involved – not just because it feels good to give (though it does) – but because it’s the right thing to do. We will always do what’s right for your wellbeing and for the health of our community as a whole.
