We are thrilled to be opening our second financial center in Davie County and the team we’ve put together can’t wait to get to know all of you. We asked them a few questions to help you learn a little more about them.
We have three Member Advisors and a Financial Center Manager at Bermuda Run to help you with all of your financial needs. We also have representatives from the Allegacy Investment Group, available through CUSO Financial Services, LP* and our Mortgage Department ready to serve you.
Joe Kent, Financial Center Manager, has over 10 years experience in the financial services industry. He is passionate about our members and his family as he strives for wellness in mind, body and spirit. He is an avid snowboarder and loves to run. While living in Utah, he was very active in helping others develop a love for running by volunteering with the Girls on the Run program.
As the manager in our newest member-centric financial center design, Joe is excited about being a pioneer in this new concept, guiding members through the layout and introducing them to our innovative resources.
He is joined by Mavis Amoako, Joyce Braun and Andy Blair, our Member Advisors at Bermuda Run. Member Advisors are trained to process most financial needs from simple transactions to loans so everything can be handled through one person.
You may have had the pleasure of seeing Mavis if you visited our Allegacy Village Financial Center in Clemmons. Mavis has been with us over three years and is very knowledgable about Allegacy’s products and services. Her genuine care for our members makes her a good fit for the Member Advisor role at Bermuda Run. In her spare time, Mavis loves to spend time with her friends and family watching soccer or playing pingpong. When she has some quiet time, reading a good book is the first item on her list.
Joyce Braun is excited about the member experience she’ll be able to offer at Bermuda Run. With over 10 years of financial services experience, not only will she be able to process requests, Joyce will be able to help educate our members using the educational components at Bermuda Run which includes a tech table that provides resources, tools and demonstrations. Growing up, you could find Joyce honing her skills on the softball field. She brings that same commitment to our members at Bermuda Run.
Andy Blair comes to Allegacy with over 15 years in the financial services industry. He was drawn to Allegacy because of the culture and desire to always do the right thing for our members’ wellbeing. He believes the Bermuda Run design and education center is the perfect place for him to help our members. An interesting fact about Andy – he played in a metal band through high school and college, but has toned it down a bit since then. You’ll find him playing in the band at his church these days!
Mark Walton is a financial advisor available through CFS* and he has a passion for helping our members be their best. He is excited to be part of the Bermuda Run team and is looking forward to sharing the ‘futuristic’ experience with our members. He enjoys mountain biking and hiking along with cooking and spending time with friends. He has quite a variety of favorites too. His favorite actor is Robin Williams, favorite movie – Good Will Hunting, favorite TV show – Seinfeld, favorite book – Gone with the Wind.
Bob Church has worked in our Mortgage Department for several years and has over 30 years experience in the business. He is delighted that he has the opportunity to work closely with our members in our newest financial center at Bermuda Run. One of Bob’s favorite quotes is “Start where you are with what you have. Never be satisfied.” He brings that philosophy with him to work every day as he strives to help our members be their best. In his spare time, Bob likes to work in his yard. His favorite movie is On Golden Pond and his favorite book is The Red Badge of Courage.
